The exhibition ´Stories´ in Waidhofen an der Thaya and Vienna

After its premiere at the National Museum of Photography in Jindřichův Hradec, the final exhibition of ´Stories´ from the project of the same title will be on display in a reduced version in Austria at the Town Hall in Waidhofen an der Thaya (Stadtplatz 1) from the 2nd to 21st May 2012. Opening Hours: Monday-Wednesday from 7.30 am to 4.30 pm, Thursday 7.30 am to 5.30 pm, Friday 7.30 am to 12.30 pm. Free admission.

Subsequently the exhibition will be presented from 23rd May to 21st June 2012 (with the vernissage on 23rd May 2012 at 7 pm) in the Austrian capital of Vienna in the local Czech Centre Vienna (Herrengasse 17). Opening Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 am to 5 pm , Tuesday from 10 am to 6 pm and Friday from 10 am to 4 pm. Free admission.


The NMP Photo School Graduates Exhibition from Autumn 2011

10.-31. 5. 2012

From the 10th to 31th May 2012 the exhibition of works by graduates of the ´National Museum of Photography Photo School 2011´ will take place on the ground floor of the Museum. The exhibition will not have a vernissage and admission is free. Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

    A collective vernissage will be held on 23rd June 2012 at 5 pm. The exhibitions will run until 30th September 2012.

    The extensive set of exhibitions has been prepared to mark the 10th anniversary of the founding of the National Museum of Photography. At present, a transformation of the institution and its name is under way while still maintaining its original main focus.
