Digitazation shop of the National Museum of Photography
The digitazation shop of the National Museum of Photography in Jindřichův Hradec started to operate in 2004. It is equipped for professional digitazation (using IMACON Flextight 848 and EPSON Expression XL1640 scanners) and large-format printing of photographs (using the EPSON Stylus Pro 4800), which rates amongst the best technology of its kind. All our technology is regularly calibrated. At the same time, we punctually follow the rules for ink managment in order to achieve the maximum quality of photographic output.
Services on offer:
- Slide and negative scanning from 35 mm up to 13x18 cm on the high-end scanner IMACON Flexlight 848, scanning of two-dimensional artwork, glass plates, unbendable prints up to the A3 format on the EPSON XL 1640 scanner.
- Large format photographic printing up to the width of 1 m (photopaper, banner, vinyl, DYE print and UV inks) on an HP DesignJet 5500 printer.
- Large format printing up to the width of 43 cm (photopaper, fine art, KAPA board etc.)
- Cold lamination, foam-backing and adjustment of photographs on Kapa, Forex and PVC plus other boards.
- Preparation of originals for print, graphic work, digital adjustment and restoring of scanned archive materials.
Our digitazation shop allows for your presence during digitazation, computer adjustment and printing of photographs.
Upon your request we will gladly provide you with a pre-calculation of the total cost according to your specific demands.
Among the important commissions we have realized are, for example, the processing of the Divadelní ústav (Theatre Institute) in Prague (the digitazation of 2,700 negatives) and the Jihočeské divadlo (South Bohemian Theatre) in České Budějovice (the digitazation of 6313 negatives).
By using our services you will also help the development of our museum.
